Rockville, MD— August 6, 2019—Access Intelligence’s Kerry Smith, Divisional President, Marketing & Media Group, has announced some significant changes to the structure of his brands and teams as follows:
Dan Hanover has been promoted to Senior Vice President of the Marketing Group, where he will oversee growth and expansion of Event Marketer, Chief Marketer, LeadsCon, Multichannel Merchant, VMA Media, and now PR News and The Social Shake-Up event, which have been moved under Hanover’s leadership in order to better leverage audience, content and marketing synergies with Event Marketer and Chief Marketer. The PRNews group marketing team, led by Laura Snitkovskiy, who was promoted last month to Group Marketing Director of PRNews and The Social Shake-Up, will continue to oversee marketing for the group, and along with Melissa Hoffmann on content, report into the PRNews Group Publisher.
Jessica Heasley has been promoted from Content Director to Group Publisher of Event Marketer and Chief Marketer, with responsibility for content, sales, event strategy and overall management of these brands, with the leaders of those areas reporting to Heasley. Heather O’Connell, who currently runs LeadsCon, Connect to Convert and Etail Operations Summit, will take over management of Multichannel Merchant, the media business associated with Operations Summit, with all sales and content teams reporting to her, as Group Show Director.
Bill Amstutz has been promoted to Group Publisher of AdMonsters and AdExchanger. Both these distinct brands serve the advertising technology sector and bringing them under Bill’s leadership will allow us to better serve these communities by taking advantage of the great talent within these groups to bolster audience development, marketing and new product development across digital, events and awards.
In addition, FOLIO: will move into Amstutz’s group. This move will connect FOLIO: to AdMonsters, whose primary audience is publishers, and create more opportunities for growth. This will also allow Robbie Caploe to devote her full attention to managing AI’s Cynopsis business and the new initiatives that are underway for that brand, including the launch of That Big TV conference, Sept. 9-10 in New York. Mike Grebb will continue to manage both the Cablefax and Studio brands, and Megan Kuczynski will AI’s Esports Business Summit, reporting in to Smith.
“I’m excited about these changes,” noted Smith.” This new structure will create better alignment of roles and responsibilities as well as a stronger platform for growth across the group. I’m looking forward to working with these leaders and their teams to continue to grow our brands and better serve our communities. These promotions demonstrate that we continue to attract and develop strong leaders throughout the organization, which creates opportunities for everyone as our business evolves.”
