About SATELLITE and GovMilSpace Summit:

The SATELLITE Conference and Exhibition is the leading commercial satellite and space event in a fast-paced, growing industry.  Launching as a new co-located event in 2025, the GovMilSpace Summit is an expansion of a successful program previously run as part of the SATELLITE Conference and Exhibition.  The GovMilSpace Summit is poised to capitalize on SATELLITE’s reputation in the industry while serving the government and military markets with an event tailored to their needs.

Job Overview:

The sales manager for the GovMilSpace Summit will be directly responsible for selling booths in the pavilion and sponsorships for the program. The sales manager will work closely with the SATELLITE sales director to maximize opportunity and collaborate on larger packages.  The sales manager and show director of SATELLITE will work hand in hand to develop sponsorship offerings and devise a strategy to boost both booth and sponsorship sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting: Grow and nurture the prospect database for the government and military space market.
  • Hitting sales goals: Achieve revenue goals set forth for exhibits, sponsorship and digital media.
  • Attending competitive events: Represent the brand and prospect competitive events throughout the year.
  • Outreach messaging: Collaborate with the marketing department on messaging for mass outreach to prospects.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in B2B event sales, preferably in the government industry
  • Excellent verbal/written communication as well as presentation skills
  • Strategic planning and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work effectively with a small team in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks at once
